Advertising poster of Count Patrizio (Ernesto Scagnelli), an Italian magician from the 19th century. It was designed and printed by Jules Chéret, a lithographer considered one of the greatest artists of advertising posters, at his press in Paris. This poster is an example of the early days of lithographic art, as it was created using only three colors: green, red, and black. More colors would later be added. The design of the poster emphasizes the hidden nature of magic, highlighted by the power the magician exerts over the skull, the central figure accompanied by an army of skeletons peeking from the shadows. At the bottom, cards, dice, and a dove are prominently featured. Its size is 45 cm x 60 cm.
